In addition to rigorous and consistent posts, I’m also participating in INKTOBER!  For those unaware, every year millions of artists (or not) challenge themselves in create one new original ink drawing everyday.  No falling behind, nor building up a surplus.  EVERY DAY for 31 days you’ll get a new unique piece, often in contradiction the the artists usual style. It’s a time to surpass ourselves.  If interested, poke your nose into the tumblr blog, you might be surprised!

Sorry folks!

Although I’ve been amiss blogging any script for the past two weeks, FE has not failed to post it’s panels for you guys to read! Unexpectedly, we renovated the office here.  Tearing down wallpaper, Spackle, repairs, new paint, shampooing the rug, and all new furniture…it’s been a huge undertaking.  But now we finally have a fluid, functional, and fun work space to bring FE to production.  Stay tuned, and sorry I’ve been quiet!

I hope that everyone is ready for the long weekend, and is starting it off properly!

I’ve been approached lately about the consistency of FREEDOM EDGE and how reliable the updates are.  Admittedly, much of the praise belongs to my good friend and webdesigner.  His talent and precision has set up the website in a way that gets the book out to you without fail. He can be found in the ‘About’ section, and his attention to his work is priceless.

Greetings everyone!

New cover for the book is finally done! Looking forward to doing some extra projects this weekend as it’ll be rainy and dreary here in my area.  Can’t wait for an excuse for some cool, Fall days in order to attack some new FE milestones.  Not the least of which is getting myself to some business seminars to set up my publishing LLC, while at the same time my company is sending me back to school for my final licensure.  Of course, while we still have a few eeking moments left in the summer, you can be sure that I’ll be soaking up every last bit some where on a two-wheeled machine…

Great Friday to all,

Such a terrific week, and a great weekend on the horizon.  Printing distribution is going “okay”, but I haven’t found a print distributor that can print book to the specs I need.  Much less at the prices I need to make selling reasonable for folks.

I finally relent and I’ve begun negotiations with a publisher to see if it’s viable to go with a big name in order to get the books out.  I doubt it’s the direction we want to go; I like to have more control than that. My other option is to start my own publishing house as a small business and take out a small business loan to get the books out. At the this time the actual startup is upwards of $10k….and personally I don’t have that lying around.  At this time I can’t say for sure if we can get those books by September, but people have been brave and patient to hang in there so long.  I’m never idle, and working hard.
